Sad to announce that retired Hong Kong champion Little Bridge passed away at the Werribee Equine Clinic. Little Bridge suffered an initial bout of colic shortly after arriving at Living Legends in December 2014. He was operated on successfully then, had made a full recovery and was due to return to Living Legends when the second and more severe bout occurred on Wednesday evening. The brave little champion’s biggest win came when he travelled from Hong Kong to win the King’s Stand sprint at Royal Ascot in 2012. Our sympathies go to Bridge’s owner Mr Ko Kam Piu with special thanks to the Flemington Equine Practice, Melbourne University Equine Centre at Werribee and Pine Lodge Stables for their care of Little Bridge
