The Hornets have reached an agreement on a two-year deal with veteran guard Luther Head.

New Orleans hasn't announced the deal because Head still must pass a physical.

In a sign-and-trade with the Hawks, the Suns would acquire Childress, a 6-foot-8 forward who averaged 11.1 points per game over four seasons with Atlanta, according to the Arizona Republic. Childress played for the Greek team Olympiakos last season, but his rights are still owned by the Hawks.
